Lauren is fascinated by politics and neuropsychology. She wants to learn more about how people think and how their minds work.
I’m interested in politics. I love learning about our country and about different ways to improve it. It’s really fascinating to see how all the structures work and how people think, how everything is connected. Also, I find it interesting to think that this is our country and there is someone who's in charge of it and the things he decides affect everything. It’s so crazy to think about how much power and impact one person can have. When I grow up, I might become a neuropsychologist. My dad is a neuropsychologist at the University of Florida. I love learning about how people's minds work.
I love it here at EXPLO. It’s crazy how many people I’ve met. I think I’ve made more than a hundred friends! It’s so amazing to meet people from all over the world and share these connections with them that you never really get anywhere else. I’ve learned that life is such a special and precious thing. I have to live every day to the fullest and really enjoy it. I’m definitely going to miss my Leadership Skills course because I learned so much from that. I feel that I’m a stronger and more confident person. I think EXPLO has made me a better person in general. I feel more cultured. More experienced. I feel like when I go back to school I’ll feel stronger.
