I really don’t know yet who I want to be when I grow up. That’s why I decided to come to EXPLO — to figure out what I like. I’ve learned a lot about myself during these weeks and the way that I interact with people. I just love talking to other people so much — that’s my favorite part of EXPLO! You meet people literally from everywhere. I’ve met students from all over Asia, the Middle East, South America... and it’s crazy because they tell you all these amazing things about where they live, and now I want to go there and visit them one day. So, I’m definitely developing some new ambitions here.

I’m going to miss the social environment that exists here at EXPLO where you can so easily just walk up to someone and start a whole conversation. Back home it’s a little bit weird to walk over to a random person and ask, “Hey, where are you from?” But here it’s the most normal thing ever.

My advice to other EXPLO students is that if you have a group of friends who don’t want to do something that you really want to do, that's okay — you'll make new ones doing that new activity. Everybody here is so friendly and open and easy to talk to, so you don’t have to worry about the friend aspect here. Just go for what interests you. In the end it will all work out and you will have a blast.
