I’m very interested in music. That’s why I’m taking the Pop Choir Music course. I like how music gets people into different moods. It’s a way to express yourself. I really enjoy Beyoncé because she is so fierce! I want to be like her when I grow up. In my course, I’ve learned how to put more feeling into your music. We are working on movement while we sing, so I’ve learned a lot about what to do instead of just standing there, and how to put more emotion into my singing.

The greatest thing that happened to me here was taking part of "The Voice" competition. That was a really cool way to express my passion. I feel like I’ve grown so much here and gained so much confidence through all of the performances that I’ve done, and I’m very grateful for that.

I’ve really liked meeting so many people from so many different places like Hong Kong, Brazil, China, Africa, and England. Also, I take Mandarin classes at school, so I’ve been able to use that here to speak with other people — that’s been a very amazing experience. I would recommend that anyone come here because you’re going to meet so many cool people and you’re learning so many new things about the world. It has been a life-changing experience for me.
