Despite growing up half a world away from one another, George and Newton are finding they have more than a few things in common (including being known around campus for their 'cool hair.'
George: We met at the swimming test on the first day. We both passed!
Newton: I was here first session, too.
George: I only came for second, but this is my third year at EXPLO.
Newton: My favorite parts of EXPLO are the people I get to meet and the trips.
George: Mine's the food. And the courses. I feel like EXPLO is the kind of place where you get to develop as a student, but also a person.
Newton: Whoa, that's deep. And true.
Newton: I would describe George as honest, nice, and... a redhead?
George: Newton is funny, kind, and respectful. And he has cool hair, too.
Newton: I've been to other camps before. I think the biggest difference with EXPLO is not having my phone.
George: I actually think it's better that way. If we all had our phones, nobody would talk to each other in real life. We get to make better connections this way.
Newton: By the end of the summer I want to be more social and friendly.
George: I want to be able to go home with a lot of knowledge from my courses. And to keep in touch with Newton!
