In her first summer at Explo, this self-proclaimed music geek/opera singer has surprised herself by cultivating new interests in criminal law enforcement. After undergoing a lie detector test in her Crime Squad class, meeting friends from all across the world, and enjoying all the delicious meals at Explo, Morgan is returning home with a whole lot of material in her life's repertoire.

In my Crime Squad class today a detective chose me to take a polygraph test. I'm an actress, so at first I thought it was going to be really easy to keep cool. But then when I sat down, I could feel my heart beating faster, and I started getting shaky. Sitting there, I had nothing to worry about, but I still felt nervous. I can't even imagine how a criminal would feel if he actually did something wrong!

I'm really into music, and I've never done anything related to criminal investigations in the past. But I was reading the course description and Crime Squad seemed really interesting and different, so I decided to go for it. Originally, I had no idea what to expect, but by the end of the course, I'm sitting at the edge of my seat every day, thinking, "Hey, I want to be a detective!" and this whole new career path popped into my head out of nowhere. There's no way I would have done that in school, but at Explo, trying new things is completely normal.

I think Explo is so special because you can learn things from students all across the world both outside and inside your classes. Just down the hall, I'm living with girls from Lebanon, England, Brazil, and China. It's really interesting to ask people where they're from and find out more about them and about where they come from.
