Lewis can't believe his time at EXPLO is coming to an end and is already hoping to come back next year. His time here was filled with laughter, friendship, and a sense of freedom he has never experienced elsewhere.
EXPLO for me is really about meeting new people and having laughs. What I love about EXPLO is you learn by laughing. That’s what I enjoy a lot. My big brother came here a long time ago, so that’s the reason I did EXPLO. Last year I went to Wheaton and I enjoyed it a lot so I came here to Wellesley.
This place is amazing. The people are amazing and very nice, we have very good nature, the lake is beautiful. I love nature. I love the courses and my friends. I’m very sad I have to leave now. I’m going back to Switzerland right away. It is very different there. Like in Switzerland, if someone wears or does something different, you have complaints about it and people are going to judge things you do. Here, there’ll be no complaints; you choose whatever you want to do. The attitude is totally different. I felt very free at EXPLO.
I love my friends, and my roommate Justin. We are very good friends. We are not that similar but we like being together. When we play board games we laugh with love. It is very easy to connect with people here. People here are always with you; they won't bother you or be mean with you. If I can, I will come back to EXPLO.
