Noah: One thing I'm proud of is being a musician and being able to play multiple instruments and being able to understand them. I play the piano, guitar, and base drums. I also produce and sing. I feel like I know what I'm good at and I'm able to do music for my whole life.

William: The one thing I'm proud of at EXPLO is learning a lot in all my classes. The classes are very interesting, especially the Mechanical Engineering class. I built a rocket today; it was so powerful and it went pretty high. During the school year, I took part in engineering stuff as well. Here at EXPLO, I'm able to work in groups and collaborate with others more. With group work, you don't only think of your own opinion but other people's opinions, too, so you can combine ideas and have a greater result.

Noah: My favorite class at EXPLO is Songwriting. I've written some not good songs before. I always wanted to get back into it and this is the opportunity. Musically, I like working individually sometimes because I started very early and I know a lot about it. But with songwriting, it is helpful to have other people's opinions and get help from them. The class and the teacher here help me a lot with structuring my work and thinking about "will something work, or if not, why?" kind of questions.

William: At EXPLO, it's really easy to make friends. Because when you are put into a suite with three other people, it's kind of hard to not be friends with them. I also met a lot of friends through classes and workshops because you share the same interests with them. And through community living, I found people with different interests and it helps me with socialize with them.

Noah: Yeah, I met a lot of people who share similar interests with me and I branched out and met other people through them. I've met a lot of people from different places, too. It opens your eyes more when you meet people from different places and countries. You kind of see how they see and react to things, and it helps you communicate with them.
