On the final day of the session, students in the Trial Law + The American Justice System conducted mock trials with two State Supreme Court Justices, the Honorable Richard Gabriel (Colorado) and the Honorable Jospeh Jabar (Maine) presiding. Students spent three days working in teams to develop their arguments under the guidance of esteemed law professor Barbara Bernier and Judge Gabriel.

"I’m blown away," Judge Gabriel told the students following the presentation. "To put this together in three days is remarkable. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. I’m incredibly proud of you. It was a joy to watch that. Every lawyer, every witness was truly amazing. Opening statements were great. Your storytelling. You had themes. The witness preparation was remarkable by all of you."
