I'm really excited to be around people who enjoy writing since I'm doing creative writing course. I don't really get that kind of experience at home because not a lot of people like writing at my school. So it's cool to be around people who are passionate. Something I want to achieve here is to write a few poems, and we are going to write a short story at the end which I think would be interesting. I'm a really emotional person. I do writing all the time at home. I usually write poetry, free verse, and dark short stories about death, murder, and ghosts, haha.

I'm also taking journalism class here. I'm taking the class because I want to look into a career like that. We had a guest speaker today [Bill Littlefield] who's really cool. He's really emotional and passionate about the subject. He's a journalist himself and I was really inspired. He talked about how stories bind us as a community as a whole, and the reason we exist is to tell each other stories. I think that really made journalism seem like it's expressing people's views.
