Ambassador Kate returns to EXPLO each summer to learn more about herself through her courses, her connections with other students, and the instructors she calls 'wonderful.'
My first time at EXPLO was about eight years ago and the first time I was here, I never felt homesick. That is never a thing, so I knew this place was special. I made a ton of great friends that year, and it's the same group of girls that have consistently been coming back together — I'm excited for another year here!
My favorite course I have taken at EXPLO has to be Improv. I signed up for it once and thought it would be silly, but I was definitely proven wrong. The instructors on every campus were so amazing and I am taking it again here because I really can't miss that opportunity. It is not something I necessarily see working into my plans for the future, but it is fun — and who knows, one day when I am doing whatever I am doing, it may come in handy.
That's my favorite thing about EXPLO, really. I can take courses that have nothing to do with anything I know and come out the other side absolutely loving them. This place is so magical in that you come here and learn more about yourself through the various classes, the people from all over, and the wonderful instructors. So I guess thats why I keep coming back!
