Life at EXPLO has been a great experience so far. I made a lot of new friends in the living group, through classes and just generally from hanging out on the Quad here. Being social, especially with other people from different cultures, is really fun. These are people you would never meet if you weren't at EXPLO. I made friends from Hong Kong, France, Saudi Arabia, America. I have a nice group with different people and it's cool to experience that here. I didn't really have culture shock here, but people definitely see the world through different lenses. It's like a microcosm of the world.

I really like my Mock Trial class. It's really fun and we have a final project to work on. The class helps me to understand how the profession works, and acting it out as a lawyer, witness and different roles in really interesting. You also get really invested in the case. We are working on a civil case between the family who lost their son because he swallowed too many beads and the beads company. I'm the witness for the defense company. I need to know my facts really well and follows the lawyer's direction of the questions. We also get a lot of practice in class.

I also do the SAT Prep here, which is really good. It's sadly a part of the college application. But I feel like I've really improved my skills and I'm now more prepared for it.
