After hearing his sister rave about her EXPLO experience, Charles decided he should give it a try. He's looking forward to being part of a community that allows him to nurture both his academic and social self.
My typical Saturday afternoon would include me relaxing in my back yard, probably with a group of friends playing basketball. I really enjoy the community aspect of basketball but I also think community is important in any regard.
I am excited to be here because I get to explore that. Obviously there are the academic courses I will have to focus on, but I think the structure of EXPLO will also allow me to be social and make new friends. I didn't come here with a group of friends, but I am still super excited for this experience.
If I was to pick one thing I am most excited about for EXPLO it would be the balance between work and play. The academic aspect of EXPLO is very important to me but I think community, above all else, is imperative and I believe EXPLO will allow me to nurture both my academic and social side.
