Students in the Bridge Engineering Weekend Workshop tour the Wheaton Campus bridges, taking notes on their structural components. Students then create small models out of spaghetti, Dots, toothpicks, and tape, using physics fundamentals and their imaginations. Once students complete their models, they test the structural integrity of their bridges, using small weights to see how much force their designs could withstand.
