Students taking the Murder Mystery Elective have spent the week as detectives, applying analytical thinking skills to unsolved murder case simulations. In their last meeting, the group solved their murder early, and spent their last moments together as a class creating chalkboard creatures and discussing their collective victories. Students in the Casino Math elective have spent the week designing their own games and learning about mathematical phenomenons present in a game of cards. Today, students wrote out the rules to their games on posters so they can teach their friends how to play in an upcoming activity group.
