Sixteen-year-old Thomas plans to attend college in the United States, but isn't quite sure what he would major in. He's looking to EXPLO as an opportunity to explore his interests in architecture and creative writing while experiencing life in a university environment.
I plan to attend college in the United States and was searching for a program here that would allow me to familiarize myself with the college environment. As I was researching different options, I found that most programs want you to already have an idea of what you want to study and the field you plan to go into in the future. When it comes to those decisions, I’m still completely lost.
It’s then that I found EXPLO 360; it allows me to get a taste of several different subject matters while being enveloped in the university setting.
As for my specific courses, I want to see what architecture is all about. I’ve always imagined that I’d like it, but I really have no context about what it really entails. The same goes for creative writing. I know that I like to write, but I’ve never really had the chance to explore it in any significant depth. I also just signed up for the a cappella club. I don’t sing, but who knows — I might love it!
