Alexandria is a rising junior who has an abiding patriotic spirit and aspires to serve her country with a career in intelligence.
My father’s an IT manager. I hear a lot of conversations about his work and about power failures, but he used to be in the military. It’s where I learned a little about the different departments that fall within that spectrum. I want to serve my country and work towards bettering our nation, but I’m not sure if the exact place for me is in the line of fire. That’s why I’ve decided that I want to work in intelligence.
I’m taking Model United Nations and Science of Fear, both of which I’m hoping will help me towards that goal. While MUN seems a little more straightforward, I feel like Science of Fear helps to determine and understand what scares a person and what makes them tick — or at least how you can identify it.
I'm also taking Apocalypse Management for my workshop. Although I'm not quite sure what to expect, it's been interesting learning how to problem solve and collaborate in such a different setting.
