At community meeting, students enjoy informative skits from staff as well as a performance by storyteller and anthropologist Stokley Towles. Towles, a former EXPLO instructor, has performed at conventions, art spaces, bookstores and nightclubs in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle, and is also a professor at Evergreen State College.
