I have been interested in marketing and advertising for future endeavors so I thought this would be a fun class to take. I’m very into music so I was thinking of marketing for artists and musicians.
I think there are a lot of talented artists. I really like Twenty One Pilots and Troye Sivan, who is killing it at the moment! I think at the moment, Troye is specifically doing a great job marketing because he initially started on Youtube and branched out by using that platform to grow his brand.
I would want people to see me as a creative person who genuinely cares about their work.
How would I brand myself? I would have to think about what I want everyone else to see me as. I would want people to see me as a creative person who genuinely cares their work and a person who implements that into all of their work for the outside world.
In our Advertising + Marketing class, we created our own companies and we have to sell Explo sunglasses. We created our own company name and logo and are selling for the next two days. Our company name is ExOptics! I think everyone should buy them because they’re very cool.
