I love it so much here. The Yale Campus is so beautiful and I made so many good friends that I feel like are already my best friends, even though I’ve just been here two weeks. [In classes] we go deeper into the specifics and I really like that. I feel like I've learned a lot about political media studies in my class. The whole class is doing a presidential campaign and the whole program is going to vote tomorrow at One World to see which person they want to be their presidential candidate. It is really cool because you had to think a lot before putting anything out there. Like what stance candidates have for particular issues. It deals with a lot of real things that campaign managers have to deal with.

At home for extracurricular activities, I mostly debate. I am really into politics. I am especially interested in American politics. There’s so much going on. Not even just the presidential cycle, it’s just all of it is really fascinating. I’ve been pretty interested in politics since I was twelve. My parents follow it really closely, so overhearing them talk about it, I soon started to follow. My parents always had political news on, and so I just heard it and thought, “That’s bad,” or, “That’s good.” And I just sort of got invested. I’d love to be a campaign manager. It’s one of those things where you need to be really good at to even make a little bit of money. But I like that a lot. Or I’d like to be a lawyer when I grow up. It’d be cool to be a lawyer at the White House.
