Cameron is a rising sophomore who's looking forward to expanding his understanding of mechanical engineering through a variety of hands-on courses.
I went to a camp at Disney when I was younger, and we met the engineers behind the creation of all of the roller coasters there. They talked about the process of being hired right out of college, and how they had to learn about the balance between constructing something safe that could also instill the "thrill factor" in a completely unique way.
Growing up, I played with legos a lot and I’m now in the robotics club at my school. I’m a visual and a tactile learner. I can’t absorb a lot of textbook information, which I think is a big part of why I’m attracted to mechanical engineering. That's why I'm excited about EXPLO's student-centered and experiential approach to learning.
I love working with my hands and creating objects for other people’s enjoyment, so it makes sense to use technology in order to do so, since it’s become such an important part of our lives.
