Students in Anatomy and Physiology test their skill at preventing and treating blood clots using an EXPLO-designed blood clot apparatus. The goal is to stop a hematoma from traveling through the apparatus by building an implant that stops the clot but allows the blood to pass through. Students implant their design in the tube of the apparatus and test to see if it will collect a clot within gallons of rushing water.
