Students do an exercise to better understand privilege. Everyone gets to throw a paper ball into the trash bin. Students who sit nearer have an advantage over those who sit further away. They then discuss natural advantage in the world, bringing examples like oil in the Saudi Arabia and diamonds in North Africa.
