Today is all about buttercream and piping! Students make their own buttercream from scratch and then practice artfully applying it onto cupcakes.
The students have a unique opportunity today: to interview some influential characters from fictional civilizations. After an interview with The Receiver, students interview Katniss Everdeen from Panem and compare the two dystopias.
The name of the game today is... well, NAMES! Students get out of the classroom and back to basics to learn about each other and what they hope to gain from their experience.
Finally, the day has arrived-- Arrival Day, that is! Students register, move into their rooms, and got right to having fun. Later, living groups participate in a scavenger hunt, ending with a fashion show featuring some Residential Advisors that can't help but be unabashedly themselves.
Our EXPLO Ambassadors arrived on Saturday just in time to welcome Day Students for Day Student Orientation. Later, Ambassadors perform skits displaying the unique moments of the EXPLO experience.
