Vincent is back for his fourth summer of Explo (his first at Explo at Wellesley). He is energized by sports and science at Explo, and feels blessed to be surrounded by caring instructors, amazing friends that he's made over the years, and the tasty treats in the dining hall.

I love learning new things and exploring things that I'm not sure of. Like, today in my Chemistry in Action course, we're blowing up watermelons with dry ice. I don't really know yet how we're doing it, but I'm excited for the explosion! I think a lot of science is not knowing what to expect, but doing it anyway — but that's the fun part! With science, anything is possible, if you can experiment!

At Explo, I've been able to do so many hands-on science experiments. We've made oobleck, blown up watermelons, and made ice cream from dry ice. Explo is so fun because all the learning is hands-on... and there's no homework! The learning you do takes place in the class and you learn so much more than in school in the few weeks that we're here.
