Sky is a bubbly, energetic student who loves trying new things. Whether it's trying new food, meeting new friends, or trying out a new skill, she loves doing it; and she gets to do all of that here at Explo!
I really like food, I’m really energetic, I like trying new things, and I really like meeting new people. I love making friends! I’m a very social person. I really like eating and trying to bake. I’m not the best cook because I get distracted, but I like trying different foods. It’s really fun at Explo because I can take certain portions of so many different foods that I have never tried at home. But it’s like, “I’m going to try this!” It tasted really good!
Explo is a good place for trying new things because there are so many things to do. You think, “I’m just going to try this because I don’t have the opportunity to try it at home, but I do here at Explo!” All the courses and workshops provide you the opportunity to try something you would never otherwise get to try. My first course is Intro to Acting and I wouldn’t normally get to try acting. But here at Explo I get to try it and learn more about it!
Explo is also a really good place for making new friends and for being a social person like me! I’ve made a lot of new friends from my hall, from my classes, or just from walking around and being on the quad. I’ll just walk up to someone and compliment them on something they’re wearing and then we are just hanging out!
This is my second year here at Explo and at Wellesley. Last year was by far the greatest three weeks of my year. It was a lot of fun! There’s so much going on and it’s a non-stop fun way to spend part of your summer!
