For EXPLO Ambassador Rebecca, the world is big and beautiful and attainable. She’s already started saving up to fulfill her dream of studying abroad and traveling across the globe.
In the future, I want to be a traveler. And maybe go to college somewhere other than America, like Finland or Switzerland, and study entrepreneurship. My dream is seeing how the world works, not just standing in one place but going all around. In 6th grade history class we were learning about the names and cultures of all the different countries and it just sparked something inside of me. Right now I’m saving up for a trip to go to Japan next year with my best friend. When I’m older, I really want to go to India and, if possible, every country.
Being an ambassador at EXPLO can teach me leadership skills that will help me when traveling. EXPLO wouldn't be what it is if everybody wasn't friends and nobody talked to each other and there wasn't as much sociability. EXPLO has made me push myself out of my comfort zone, and it added to my personality so later, when I travel, I can find friends to travel with. If nobody wants to go skydiving, I can be the first to go and set a good example. I can lead people to start a travel company. I can inspire people.
