A first-time Student Ambassador and second-time Explo at Wellesley student, Rebecca is not only excited to return for her second summer here, but is already looking forward to moving on to Explo at Yale next summer.

There are so many unique things about the Explo experience that it’s really hard to pick one. I think that it’s just so different. You can be anybody here, and you'll always find someone like you. At other summer programs it’s always labeled, like a sports camp, where everyone shares similar interests. But here, we’re all here to be a part of Explo even though we’re all very different.

I have a thirst for knowledge here that I don’t always have at school. I have to go to school, but I come here because I want to be here. Being at Explo is something you can’t find anywhere else.

There’s no doubt that you can come here for the first time — knowing nobody and having no idea what your classes are going to be like — and find something you really love. There are just so many options. Today when I was greeting the new day students, I was asking about their courses. There are so many options, which means there’s a place for everybody.

I have a thirst for knowledge here that I don’t always have at school. I have to go to school, but I come here because I want to be here. Being at Explo is something you can’t find anywhere else. To not have come back again this year would have felt like the biggest missed opportunity. You can make friends for life here, and you can learn things you didn’t even know you wanted to learn.
