Basketball, soccer, tennis — you name it, I play it. I'm not the best at all of them, but I think the reason why I love them so much is because the effort I put into the really shows on the field. If you don't give up and just keep trying, you'll eventually get better or even find something that you're really good at that you didn't know you'd love. I remember when I first started, I was terrible at soccer. I couldn't play offense or defense, but I kept trying. Finally after rotating me in all the different positions he could think of, the coach decided to put me as goalie and I finally found the perfect fit for me.

I think the work ethic that I have when I play sports has helped me be really open to trying new courses here at Explo. I saw a friend here doing improv one day and he was so funny, he inspired me to switch into the class even though I'd never done it before. In class, you have to work really hard to act in all these different roles and think quickly, but if I keep trying and learning and don't give up, I think I can be a really great improviser.

I'd say Explo is amazing because you can really learn to do whatever you want here. You have the freedom to try to switch in and out of courses [at the start of courses], which makes being able to find what courses you love easy, and gives you a lot of chances to try new things.
