Meet Callan from Rhode Island

I like to think I’m funny at times. It’s my dream to become a comedian. When I was little, my sister and I used to stand on the hearth of our fireplace as if it was a stage and we would pretend to be different characters we created. We created these characters named Minion and Jinion. Minion and Jinion created a land called Silly Land. There were tons and tons of characters in Silly Land and they all had different voices that we needed to act as.

Minion and Jinion go to this camp that my sister and I modeled off of EXPLO. It’s called Camp CooCoo. This is my fifth year at EXPLO, and my sister also went, so we would use what happened at this program as inspiration for characters and stories for Minion and Jinion. They would do some weird activities.

I probably want to do stand-up comedy the most. I like humor along the lines of Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy. If I had a stand-up special it would probably mostly be about my life. I was a very strange child, so I feel like there would be a lot to talk about. One time when I was little, I covered myself completely in lotion and pretended I was Frosty the Snowman.
