Last night, New England Cable News (NECN) ran a short video feature on Explo at Wellesley. The segment is running in rotation through today, but we've also decided to post it here. Click the video below to watch the segment!
On Monday, July 6, NECN came to campus, and we introduced its reporters to the magic of learning at Explo. They visited Explo at Wellesley's Aerial Robotics course, where they saw and spoke to students about the robots they're building and about the culture of learning and discovery at Explo.
"It's nice because everybody has their thing that they enjoy doing and are good at doing," Stav, a 9th grade student, told NECN. "So we try to build on those strengths but also challenge each other and get out of our comfort zones."
For Explo's students, spending a summer in an environment where creative thinking and problem-solving are encouraged makes a world of difference. Watch the NECN segment on Explo here:
