Bill Littlefield, whose voice alone is nationally recognized as host on NPR’s Only A Game, will join EXPLO on the Yale campus as a visiting professor-of-practice during summer 2018.
A nationally-known author and veteran sports commentator with over 30 years of expertise in sports and journalism, Littlefield will meet with EXPLO students enrolled in Sports Management focus program to discuss the relationship between sports writing and media.
The author of two novels, Prospect and The Circus in the Woods, publisher of Keepers and Only A Game, a bi-monthly columnist for The Boston Globe, and a professor at Curry College, Littlefield will also connect with Exploration students enrolled in Journalism and Creative Writing courses to share his experience using various lenses and mediums for the purpose of storytelling.
